SEN Inclusion Solutions is a consultancy service that aims to make inclusion a reality for those children with SEND and their families. Olga Virgili-Atkins (founder) has over 20 years’ experience in the SEN field.
Olga qualified in 2002 as an Educational Therapist in Barcelona (Spain) and moved to the UK in October 2003. She worked as an SEN teacher, a SENCo, a Teacher in Charge of Additionally Resourced Bases (ARBs) and a lead professional in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) before working as an SEND Consultant for local authorities and education providers.
Olga’s services expanded to advocate for parents in 2014 when her personal life crossed paths with her professional background. That very first satisfied client in south-west London led to being recommended in parents’ forums. She has since worked with families all over England.
Olga is passionate about inclusion and believes that an inclusive education system promotes an inclusive society. Despite the difficulties SEN services face – especially since the 2014 reforms – Olga continues to promote collaborative long-lasting partnerships between stakeholders and parents – even when the case is one to be heard by SENDIST.
